Fourth of July Musket Ball Shooting Target

Another fourth of july shooting target for your guys, this time featuring 24 musket balls. All are sized to .69 caliber, the size of lead ball typically used in the “Brown Bess” musket, one of the most prolific muskets during the American Revolutionary War!

This would make an awesome training or competition target with a scoped .22 rifle, or maybe up close with a handgun. How many of the 24 lead balls can you hit with 24 shots? It’ll be an awesome way to compete with your friends, or improve your skills on your own. Remember, these are going to be challenging, with a diameter of only .69 inches. So give it your best shot. This is our rework of the original B29 silhouette shooting target. We shrunk it down and made it easily printable at home. It should be suitable for all your recreational/competition shooting needs! This is a great one for defensive training, improving your shooting skills, or challenging your friends. It has nice built-in scoring. We also made a version with a red center for easier sight picture and target alignment. After all, sometimes these all-black targets can be tough to acquire with darker sights. The B29 target silhouette is a tried-and-true design, so we really hope you like this, as well as our other free printable silhouette targets. Enjoy!

Champion Redfield Style Sight-In Target (Printable For FREE)

This is our re-creation of the famous Champion Redfield Style Sight-In Target. In fact, it’s one of our favorites and we’ve used them more times than we can count. As a result, it’s one we just had to adapt for free, easy printing at home. It has a 1-inch grid and is extremely close to the original sighting target, with a couple of differences.

First, space was somewhat limited, but we did what we could to get 5 targets to fit on a single page. The four outer targets are all dead-on to original size, however we did have to shrink the large center diamond down to 5 inches, from the original 6″. Otherwise, things were too squished for shooting any kind of proper groups. It also does feature the original sight-in measurements on the top, and right sides of the target. This way, you’ll know exactly how you need to adjust your scope after shooting groups! The target is still quite small, but we did our best to make it just as useful. And free! We hope you enjoy our rework of the Champion Redfield Style Sight-In Target. Be on the lookout for more new content!

This is our re-creation of the official NRA B-16 Target, which is their 25 yard slow-fire pistol competition shooting target. There is a normal version with all black center, as well as another version with a red center for easier visibility, sight alignment and so on!

This should be a really nice target for improving your skills, challenging your friends, or even training for real competition at an actual event. The target dimensions are 100% accurate to actual NRA B-16 Target dimensions, but unfortunately the outer ring was too big to completely fit on an 8.5×11″ piece of paper. Even still, it should still be very serviceable for casual competition and scoring. But as always, have fun using these with any type of gun you find appropriate! We just figured we would bring you an easily printable version regardless.

This is an awesome long-range NRA MR-31 Target that has been adapted for use at 100 yards. In other words, placing this at 100 yards will simulate the original at 600. It’s definitely one of the more challenging targets I’ve come across, but will serve as great practice for prone or benchrest shooting. In fact, prone shooting competition is what the original 600 yard version was intended for. Shooting it this way should make the experience way more authentic!

I also want to thank Bison Ballistics (click here to visit them) for providing this awesome free printable target. Like I said, I think you guys will really enjoy it. We’d recommend sticking with a medium or high-powered rifle to make this target better simulate the original 600 yard format. Still, it should be a great all-around bullseye target to enjoy with any firearm. Thanks for visiting, and thank you for your support!
